Job Summary
Baron Oilfield Supply is a busy oilfield supply store with locations across Alberta and northern B.C. We have an Immediate opening for the Position of:
Receptionist/Sales Administration:
The Receptionist will be responsible for greeting customers on the phone in a professional and friendly manner, directing telephone traffic or accurately recording messages. This position demands an effective communicator, someone who brings positivity to the team, is able to stay on task to meet tight deadlines and is able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Helpful friendly and diplomatic manner in person and on the telephone
- Timely response to email inquiries.
- Assisting the sales team and senior staff with various administrative tasks.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned.
Sales Administration Duties:
Administrative staff are responsible for the effective flow of all paperwork within the branch. Office administration staff are tasked with keeping various internal records, filing and various other office duties.
- Ensure all cash sales are recorded, balanced and processed to Accounts Receivable Department.
- Match vendor invoices for processing to Accounts Payable
- Assist Inside sales team in collecting information from customers to finalize invoice
- Ensure customer invoices are complete and sent to final destination for processing
- Assist in resolving branch deficiency reports
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
Must be personable, have a good work ethic, able to multi-task and an eagerness to learn. Office experience a definite asset.
This is an entry level position with room for advancement for the right individual.
Qualifications and Skills
- Able to function accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Must have exceptional phone etiquette
- Superior organizational, planning and record-keeping skills
- Ability to prioritize, adjust according to priorities and successfully complete assignments in a team environment
- Strong technical skills in MS Office Suite of tools, Outlook, Word and Excel
