TAC Sports Mission:

TAC Sports is dedicated to providing children with a personalized, growth-focused experience in both recreational and academy sports. Our goal is to foster not only sports skills but also life skills, self-confidence, and positive self-image in our students.

Afterschool Program Details:

Our Afterschool programs run from September to June, with 1-hour sessions at various times:

  • 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • 3:15 PM – 4:45 PM
  • 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and ensure the safety of all participants.
  • Foster strong relationships with school administration and faculty.
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
  • Use a range of teaching methods such as discussions, visual aids, and guided discovery to engage students.
  • Encourage and develop students' potential skills and athletic abilities.
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in staff meetings and mandatory training sessions.
  • Motivate students to achieve success.
  • Enforce safety protocols and rules.
  • Take on additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children aged 3.5 to 12 (JK – Grade 8).
  • NCCP Coaching certification (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of badminton or other sports.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certification.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.

Job Type:

  • Part-time, Seasonal, Internship/Co-op.
  • Expected hours: 1–5 per week.
  • Schedule: Afternoon/Evening shifts, Monday to Friday.

About Lifetime Skills Academy

TAC Sports specializes in teaching soccer (recreational and academy), tennis and basketball to children age 4-15. Located throughout the GTA, TAC Sports provides a safe and comfortable learning environment where children can improve their skill and feel more confident about themselves.

With a low instructor to student ratio, students receive personalized development plans and constant feedback throughout the program. Our unique team of coaches provide a nurturing and fun environment which will ensure that your sports star is excited about coming back.

Tac Sports specialized camps and programs run all year.
