Job Purpose
The Material Handler III independently manages advanced part handling and inspection tasks, focusing on wet paint lines and ensuring comprehensive quality control with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced production inspections and quality checks for painted parts, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Handle complex rework tasks with precision, resolving defects and ensuring corrective actions meet quality requirements.
- Ensure accurate and efficient workflow documentation, including production counts, quality records, and process tracking.
- Mentor and train less experienced material handlers, providing hands-on guidance to improve skills, efficiency, and adherence to processes.
- Lead process optimization efforts, identifying areas for improvement in material handling, sequencing, and overall workflow efficiency.
- Verify and adjust part sequencing and spacing to maintain smooth production flow.
- Oversee and ensure packaging accuracy, verifying that final products meet quantity, labelling, and quality standards.
