Reno Lighting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented  Customer Service Representative  to join our dynamic team. This  entry-level opportunity  offers hands-on experience and career development in the industrial and commercial lighting industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders accurately via phone, email, or fax.
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries.
  • Update customers on order status, including backorders, partial shipments, and delivery timelines.
  • Prepare customer quotes for both existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Collaborate with Outside Account Managers and the Warehouse Team to support seamless operations.

Customer Transactions & Support:

  • Manage and track customer orders using internal systems and client POs.
  • Look for opportunities to improve the customer experience and support upselling initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Identify and communicate customer needs and opportunities to internal teams.
  • Address customer concerns with timely, effective solutions and follow-up.
  • Use internal tools and knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Stay informed on product availability, lead times, and inventory status.
  • Handle administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education (College Diploma in Business or related field preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer service or business administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar sales/order processing software is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to LED, lighting, or electrical wholesale industries is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (French is a bonus).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management.

Schedule:

  • Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
