1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑ Clerk II
Northwestern Ontario Breast Screening Program
It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event
you are successful.
Reporting to the Manager ‑ Screening and Assessment Services, the Clerk II will work to support the client booking
and related administrative duties to support cancer screening services as well as the genetics program. This position
provides highly professional client management support in a fast paced, high volume settings, supporting full and
part times office, screening coach staff, affiliated health care professionals. As a member of the clerical team, the
clerk will input data into various client management systems for client bookings, processing patient correspondence
and assist with arrangements related to the mobile coach travel, OBSP affiliates sites as well as genetic clinics.
Qualifications:
* The successful completion of a two year related secretarial diploma program at the Community College level, plus
a minimum of 5 years health care related experience
* Working knowledge of Meditech, ICMS and Shire
* Familiarity with the data management systems
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and
professionalism
* Excellent telephone, interpersonal and customer service skills
* Able to multi‑task, effectively balancing multiple daily priorities and timelines
* Able to work effectively with frequent interruptions while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
* Demonstrated sensitivity to multi‑cultural clientele and issues
* Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with TBRHSC policies.
* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Powerpoint and Excel is preferred.
* Ability to multi‑task , effectively balancing priorities with tight time lines
* Demonstrated sensitivity to multi‑cultural clientele and issues
Salary Range: $27.083 to 27.772
