Construction Security Guard - Part-Time

We are seeking dependable and observant Part-time Construction Security Guards to protect our clients’ construction sites from trespassing, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in ensuring site safety and maintaining a strong security presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor site perimeter and conduct regular patrols
- Prevent unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity
- Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Ensure the safety of materials, equipment, and infrastructure
- Check IDs and log entries of all visitors, staff, and deliveries
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies or alarms
- Follow site-specific safety and security protocols
- Collaborate with site supervisors, emergency services, and iGuard360’s Operations team
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (Required)
- CSA-approved safety boots (Required)
- First Aid & CPR/AED Level C (Required)
- Able to travel to Toronto, ON (Required)
- Excellent observational and reporting skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must be dependable, professional, and punctual
- Previous construction or industrial site experience is an asset
- Access to reliable transportation is preferred
Available Shifts:
- 10 hour Day Shifts
- Weekdays and Weekends
- On-call opportunities and permanent site placement available
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Morning shift
- Weekends only
