About the role
The Head Office for Charm Diamond Centres (CJ Limited) is looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Customer Experience Specialist at our location in Dartmouth, NS.
In business since 1972, and operating over 85 stores across the country, CJ Limited is the largest family-owned Canadian jewellery company and a platinum member of Canada's Best Managed Companies.

This Customer Experience Specialist interacts with our online customers and our customers for our brick-and-mortar stores to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process customer service requests by phone, email, and live chat
- Maintain customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
- Resolve customer complaints, manage database records, and coordinate service
- Troubleshoot customer problems
- Receive and send written correspondence
- Handle stressful situations in an appropriate and respectful manner
- Collaborate with other departments and team members
- Provide accurate and friendly customer service in a timely fashion
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of past relevant experience
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service
- Written communication - must be able to compose clear, concise, and coherent emails & chat messages
- Verbal communication - must be able to listen and respond effectively to customers
- The ability to work independently
- Demonstrated experience performing research to resolve complex customer inquiries
- Office administrative skills, accurate keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach
- Computer savvy with a proven ability to navigate email, multiple computer systems, and customer service applications, and to utilize search tools to find information
