Job Description and Responsibilities:

Position: Material Handler - 12 Hour Shift

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As directed by the Operations Manager / Shift Supervisor, responsible for the flow of raw materials and finished goods into and out of the production area.
• Must also be fully familiar with all the packaging specifications and be able to perform all Operator duties.
• Must ensure that working conditions and work habits are conducted in a safe manner.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 12 hour shift, rotating between nights and days every 2 months
• To keep the production area supplied with resin, supplies, color and packaging materials.
• To transfer finished goods to storage area and maintain production entry sheets.
• To assist in coffee & lunch break relief at machine.
• Shop Logix coding
• Hot stamper and HTL role change.
• All other duties as directed by the Supervisor / Manager

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a licensed qualified forklift operator or have recent past experience
• Must be prepared to work in a co-operative environment.
• Must be willing and physically capable to fulfill the job requirement
