Position Overview:
Webtree Academy is looking for a passionate and experienced French Teacher
to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French language instruction and experience teaching middle school students at various grade levels. This role will focus on delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that build students’ language proficiency and cultural understanding.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Ontario Curriculum Courses:
Deliver effective and interactive French lessons for middle school & elementary students, aligned with the Ontario curriculum.

Student-Centered Instruction:
Use creative and immersive teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and language acquisition.

Lesson Planning & Assessment:
Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to track student progress and support individual learning needs.

Language and Culture:
Promote both language skills and cultural awareness, helping students connect with the francophone world.

Communication:
Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Professional Growth:
Stay updated on best practices in French education and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:

Education:
Degree in French Language, French Studies

Teaching Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years teaching French at the middle school level (required)

Curriculum Knowledge:
Familiarity with the Ontario French curriculum for middle school (required)

Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English

Passion for Teaching:
A student-centered teaching approach with enthusiasm for language learning
