Job Description
As an senior actuarial analyst in the actuarial team in the insurance sector at National Bank, you’ll be a specialist in data and risks. With your information technology skills, your actuarial experience and your knowledge of insurance, you’ll have a positive impact on the overall profitability and the product offer of the company.
Your role:
- Produce various actuarial studies
- Compute actuarial projections, liabilities and results
- Participate in the automation and simplification of processes
- Ensure of the accuracy of data
- Support management in the decision-making process
- Identify risks and implement controls
- Participate in reports writing
Your team:
As part of the actuarial team in the insurance sector, you’ll be on a team of 5 colleagues and you’ll report to the senior director actuaries. Our team stands out for its specialized and unique expertise of the insurance field and by a collaboration experience with various sectors not only of the insurance sector but also within the bank. The actuaries sector gives the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks and to participate in the delivery of new initiatives.

Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or actuarial sciences
- Experience in SQL programming
- ASA, AICA title
- Expertise in Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- 5 years minimum experience in the insurance industry
- IFRS 17 knowledge
Languages:
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to carry out regularly tasks that require the use of IT apps and tools unavailable in French.
