Purpose
The Automotive Service Advisor plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, acting as a trusted liaison between clients, technicians, and service providers. This position ensures smooth communication, precise service recommendations, and top-tier support, reinforcing autologiQ’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
· Customer Engagement & Communication – Greet and assist customers through chat, messenger, email, text, and phone, addressing their vehicle concerns with care and expertise.
· Service Recommendations – Provide clear and friendly explanations of recommended services and repairs to ensure customers feel informed and valued.
· Collaboration & Coordination – Work closely with service provider locations and technicians, facilitating smooth communication and keeping customers updated throughout the process.
· Appointment & Estimate Management – Prepare estimates, schedule service appointments, and maintain organized workflow with efficiency.
· Follow-Up & Relationship Building – Check in with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional questions, fostering lasting relationships with autologiQ.
· Industry Knowledge & Professional Growth – Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and service techniques to continuously enhance customer support and expertise.
Success Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is usually the minimum requirement.
- Post-secondary training in automotive service technology or a related field is often preferred.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification, will be considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in the automotive aftermarket or dealership environment; or equivalent experience in automotive repair, sales, or customer service is highly valued.
- Possessing a 310S certification will command a premium in remuneration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with customers.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- A solid understanding of automotive systems and repairs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking efficiently.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic software and computer systems.
- Organizational skills for managing appointments, estimates, and follow-ups.
- Technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
- Computer literacy, especially with automotive software and scheduling systems.
