We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Transportation team. This position is the key public representative of the Motor Vehicles unit, which has the regulatory authority under the Motor Vehicles Act to issue driver licenses, GIC’s, vehicle registrations, various permits, and to apply sanctions to driver licenses and to cancel vehicle registrations. This position provides key services that impact upon the identity, mobility, independence, and safety of the vast majority of Yukon citizens, as well as citizens from other jurisdictions and countries.

Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.
- Considerable experience providing customer service in a high traffic/high volume regulatory environment
- Experience working within legislation and policy frameworks to carryout effective customer service delivery
- Experience performing duties related to registration, licensing and/or permitting preferably within government or large organization
- Experience handling financial transactions (debit/credit card, cash) and reconciling cash
- Bilingual would be considered an asset
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
