About the role
Our client is a leading Canadian asset based truck transportation provider offering FTL, LTL, Cross border and Warehousing services. They are looking to add a Sales and Business Development Executive to their team in the GTA.
Reporting directly to the Vice President, the ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of truck transportation sales experience, have very strong knowledge of the North American market and have deeply rooted customer relationships. Combining these experiences with a passion for developing new business and a demonstrated ability to manage relationships with existing customers will drive your success.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle. They should be confident with building new client relationship and maintaining existing ones. They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with prospective clients
- Maintain consistent contact with existing clients
- Manage sales pipeline
- Analyze market and establish competitive advantages
- Track metrics to ensure targets are hit
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing
- Demonstrated sales success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- CRM experience is preferred
