About The Role We are currently looking for Everyday Banking Service Advisors within our Client Care Contact Centre . In this role you will:

  • Be passionate about supporting Albertans through back-to-back, inbound calls which include providing advice on day-to-day banking and credit products.
  • Engage in caring conversation, ask open-ended questions, and actively listen with acknowledgement and empathy.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for clients and always do the right thing. That means going beyond the transaction, and truly getting to know the unique story of the person on the other end of the phone.
  • Be problem-solvers, hungry to find innovative solutions for your clients' challenges.
  • Be available in Client Care 7 days a week, 363 days per year.
  • Provide financial services and guidance with a high degree of responsibility and professionalism. Client interactions, conducted via telephone, demand specific communication skills and a sensitivity to the nature of financial matters.

Total Compensation

Full/Part-time - Salary range between $45,000-50,000.

  • Shift premiums/differentials available to compensate for less desirable shifts:
  • $2.25/hour from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm
  • $1.50/hour on Saturdays
  • $2.25/hour on Sundays
  • Overtime shifts are available (as needed by the business)

Job Details

Location: Calgary - HYBRID : You are required to work from our Calgary Campus office (3699 63 Ave NE, Calgary, AB) 3 days a week, with the option to work remotely for 2 days. This is subject to change based on business needs.

Availability Commitment Full-Time : Client Care is open 7 days a week, 363 days a year. Shifts are based on a weekly rotation requiring full flexibility, between the hours of 7am and 11pm. Training will be for the first 9 weeks, in person at our Calgary Campus location. No scheduling accommodations available.

We Are Looking For

  • 1-2 years experience providing exceptional customer service in a professional work environment with a proven track record of success is required.
  • Basic understanding of Canadian Banking & Banking Products: be it managing your own finances, working in another financial institution or in a fast-paced client facing environment, using cash management skills, our broad range of opportunities can align to your experience. You have used a chequing and savings account, online and mobile banking.
  • Call Centre and/or Banking experience, or education in Finance/Business (or related field) is an asset, but not required.

  • You are resilient and can perform in a fast paced environment while independently prioritizing and completing your tasks efficiently

Role Expectations

  • Flexibility in schedule and ability to work rotational shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must!
  • Committed to a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, at our Calgary Campus location, as a HYBRID worker. Eligible candidates must reside within a reasonable commutable distance (60km) from the ATB Calgary Campus. This is subject to change based on business needs.
