About the role

Who you are

  • Possess a background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Hold a CPA, ACA, ACCA, or similar accounting credential
  • Possess extensive and diverse experience in accounting, financial reporting, and group consolidation gained over a decade of professional growth
  • Possess extensive technical knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, in addition to experience with multiple local GAAPs
  • Have proven experience managing statutory reporting and consolidations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions
  • Have a background working in or with multinational corporations, ideally with shared services and cross-border structures
  • Be proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools (e.g., EPM, SmartView)
  • Possess expertise in group consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and financial statement preparation

What the job involves

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Accounting—Statutory Reporting to lead the end-to-end statutory reporting and group consolidation process across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
  • This role will be responsible for preparing accurate, compliant statutory accounts, consolidating group financial statements, and producing group reporting packs for submission to the parent company.
  • The successful candidate will combine deep technical accounting expertise with strong leadership, process improvement acumen, and experience working in complex, multi-entity, multinational environments
  • Leading the preparation, consolidation, and submission of statutory financial statements for all legal entities
  • Consolidating monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial statements
  • Producing comprehensive group reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving consistency and accuracy in financial reporting across all group entities
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and supporting audit processes
  • Maintaining and improving the statutory reporting calendar, processes, and internal control framework
  • Monitoring changes in accounting and reporting regulations and leading the implementation of relevant policy or process changes
  • Collaborating with tax, treasury, legal, and corporate finance teams to ensure relevant considerations are reflected in the financial statements
