What we need
Reporting to the Marketing and Community Relations Manager, the Kiosk Coordinator will be responsible to ensure the smooth operations of Thermea Spa Village Whitby’s temporary kiosks locations in North York, Etobicoke, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, Pickering, Oshawa, and Whitby for the duration of the holiday season. The incumbent’s main objective is to plan the needs of each location and supply the necessary resources for the kiosk agents responsible for the sale of gift certificates. The position will be fully immersed at the kiosk locations and will be on-site at our Whitby location for the occasional administrative tasks. This position is a full-time seasonal role starting from mid August 2025 – December 2025.

What you’ll do

Assist with entirety of hiring process for kiosk agents including phone screens, interview process, and orientation

Completion of kiosk schedule with support of Marketing and Community Relations Manager

Assist with scheduling adjustments and shift coverage

Provide daily operational support at kiosks including opening and closing
-
Ensure kiosks are stocked, clean, and visually appealing
-
Support team in reaching sales targets, addressing issues, and guiding customer interactions
-
Act as liaison between Marketing and Community Relations Manager and Kiosk Team (managing complaints and special requests);
-
Driving between all kiosk locations, access to a vehicle is a requirement.

Travel will be reimbursed for kiosk outside Durham Region radius.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and restocking

Troubleshoot on-site issues and escalate when needed

Promote gift certificate sales and spa experiences with accuracy and enthusiasm

Ensure company values and guest experience standards are upheld
-
Prepare basic daily summaries or reports as needed
-
Follow the established scripts to respond to the needs of our guests, in accordance to established standards;
-
Manage the entire sales cycle; take care of needs and close sales; assisting the kiosk agents in the day-to-day performance of their tasks;

Perform other related tasks.
Profile needed
In order to be successful in this role, you should posses the following:
- College degree in tourism, hospitality, administration, human resource management or other pertinent experience;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or sales
- Prior experience in a lead or support role is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort using POS systems and basic MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Be organized, dependable, and adaptable to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to stand for long periods and travel to different kiosk locations as needed
- Strong sense of organization, planning and monitoring, as well as great professional rigor;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
When
Full-time – 20 week contract - variable hours (days, evenings, weekends and holidays).
