Our client is now in the market for an exceptional mid-level Commercial Real Estate Associate to join their national team of experts in their Calgary office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a collegial team and hone your skills in a broad range of real estate transactions. The successful candidate will have the following:
- 2 to 4 years (2023 - 2020 call) years of post call Commercial Real Estate experience from a reputable Canadian law firm. A combination of in-house and private practice will also be considered.
- Experience with purchase and sale of investment properties, across all asset classes, and for a wide variety of regional and national investors.
- Experience with development approvals and complex subdivisions, on a broad range of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects
- Experience with leasing in the retail, office and industrial sectors
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work well on a variety of teams
- Excellent organizational, project management and the ability to handle multiple time sensitive priorities.
- Excellent academic credentials
- Qualified to practice law in Canada
