About the role
Aevitas Inc. is a leader in the environmental services industry. Our Maple Ridge location is looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced work environment and are committed to providing the highest level of customer service in a dynamic, exciting work environment to fill our Processing Technician role.
No experience is necessary, and all training will be provided.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a total compensation plan including:

Duties and Responsibilities
- Variety of warehouse duties including cutting, sorting and organizing material.
- Conducting electrical equipment dismantling and disassembling.
- Operating and maintaining hand & power tools.
- Operating metal reclamation machine.
- Occasional sorting of lamps, unloading trucks, dismantling lamp fixtures and sorting components, oil pumping, waste transfer, and sample testing.
- Shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Keep accurate daily and weekly production records
- Other duties as may be required from time to time
Qualifications
- Experience as a production associate or factory labourer an asset
- Mechanical ability and able to use hand & power tools
- Able to work occasional overtime on Saturdays or evenings
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- Be able to work quickly and safely in a fast paced environment
- Flexible and able to move from one job to another as required
- Able to work with others and on your own
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
