About the role
Position Summary:
Serves as a member of the team responsible for the operation of the fertilizer pant as well as performing maintenance on equipment essential to the day to day operation. Site maintenance and cleanliness in accordance to Company Policy as well as chemical shed shipping and receiving.
Position Responsibilities**:**
- Operation and calibration of blending plan equipment
- Maintain site and record maintenance and housekeeping in appropriate log books
- Adhere to safety protocols and document where possible
- Ensures equipment is operating properly
- Creates customer fertilizer blends in accordance to work orders
- Maintenance of yard site
- Chemical shed shipping and receiving, and cleanliness
- Inventory of Chemical Shed
- Delivery of Chemical Inventory to Customers
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Mechanical
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Forklift experience
- High school diploma
- Communication skills - written and verbal
