Role Overview

The Product Specialist is a vital member of the clinic team, serving as the go-to expert for all skincare-related products and maintaining strong knowledge of key brands offered by the clinic. This role ensures exceptional service by managing inventory, organizing staff training, and creating a welcoming environment for clients to explore and purchase skincare products.

Role Objectives

The Product Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Product Expertise and Client Interaction

• Serve as the resident expert on all things skincare, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of key brands and new product launches.
• Attend product trainings to stay informed about new products and advancements in skincare.
• Assist clients in building personalized skincare regimens by answering questions and providing tailored recommendations.

Inventory Management

• Conduct weekly inventory checks to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels.
• Work with clinic management to maintain inventory levels, identify low-stock items, and coordinate monthly inventory counts for both floor and storage.
• Ensure product shelves are fully stocked, replenishing inventory daily or as needed.

Merchandising and Brand Presentation

• Merchandise products according to clinic brand guidelines and planograms.
• Assist with seasonal display updates and ensure the storefront is visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
• Maintain a clean and inviting workspace to enhance the client experience.

Training and Staff Development

• Schedule ongoing product training sessions for all staff to ensure a thorough understanding of skincare offerings.
• Organize one-on-one training sessions for individual team members as required.
• Develop and execute staff incentives to boost product knowledge, engagement, and sales performance.

Operational Coordination

• Work closely with clinic leadership to ensure seamless operations at the product desk, especially during absences.
• Communicate with covering team members to ensure consistent service and product desk functionality.

Additional Duties

• Support clinic leadership in additional tasks as required to contribute to the overall success of the clinic.

Role Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of skincare products and industry trends.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Previous experience in inventory management or retail preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
