As a BDR, you will be instrumental in fueling our growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships that contribute directly to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Lead Generation: Proactively identify and generate new sales leads through targeted research, networking, and outreach efforts.
- Freight Acquisition: Identify and secure freight opportunities that align with the capacity of our asset-based trucking fleet, optimizing truck utilization and revenue generation.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, positive relationships with both new and existing clients through consistent and effective communication.
- Lead Conversion: Diligently follow up with leads, understand their needs, and effectively present our transportation solutions to convert them into valuable clients.
- Sales Data Management: Accurately and consistently record all sales activities, lead interactions, and progress within our CRM system, generating insightful sales reports as required.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to the development of sales and marketing materials to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Active Engagement: Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance your knowledge and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to overcome objections and navigate rejection with a positive and persistent attitude.
- A creative and resourceful mindset with the ability to identify innovative solutions.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong drive to initiate and build new professional connections.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools is an asset.
- An understanding of the transportation or logistics industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
