We’re seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support our Directional Drilling team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing the flow of tools and materials, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoy working in a warehouse or field service environment, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect incoming materials and verify them against shipping documents.
  • Identify and document damaged or missing items.
  • Maintain inventory tracking systems (manual and computerized).
  • Record serial numbers of incoming and outgoing tools.
  • Organize and store materials in an accessible, safe manner.
  • Support internal requisitions and restocking.
  • Count and report inventory monthly, including quantity and value.
  • Prepare and pack items for shipping.
  • Use equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
  • Work at warehouse or on-site locations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Previous experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or tool inspection preferred.
  • Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and inventory systems.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Willingness to work overtime if needed.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS (ASSETS):

  • WHMIS
  • Forklift Operator Certificate
  • TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods)
  • Crane – Rigging Certificate
  • Workhub and QMS Awareness Training
