About the role

Are you strategic in providing solutions? Do you enjoy translating business objectives into the right technology solutions, now and in the future?

We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Digital Architect for our Calgary branch to qualify opportunities and lead sales discussions with our clients! You will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to sell solutions that solve business challenges while creating the desired outcomes

A Day in the Life:

  • Design and architect industry leading-technology solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy business and technical consulting skills
  • Create detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, building long term relationships that will further business value
  • Work closely with the Sales Operations Team and Account Managers to support account planning and optimize sales opportunities in all key accounts
  • Create value-based outcomes based on current service catalogs
  • Develop service proposals and contracts
  • Provide technology leadership and support to the sales motion in multiple clients, with the goal of selling multiple managed service offerings
  • Attend and represent Long View at industry events

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years in industry working as a subject matter expert in 2 or more technology areas which can include, but not limited to:
  • Data Centre Architecture
  • Hyper-Converged Infrastructure
  • Cloud – Public, Private & Hybrid
  • Solutions from vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix, Nutanix
  • Cyber Security Consulting including Risk Assessments, Compliance, Roadmaps, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
  • Security Operations including Managed Services
  • 5+ years of selling solutions with accountability for a quota
  • Enterprise Architecture, consulting, and a proven presales expert
  • Ability to effectively communicate to different audiences including internal stakeholders and peers clearly and concisely in written, oral, and various presentation formats and situations
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation (envisioning workshops, art-of-the-possible sessions)
  • Comfort with selling complex solutions
  • Capacity to grasp new technology concepts rapidly and assess their relevance for client solutions

  • Data Centre Management (CDCMP) Certification
  • Cloud (Microsoft Azure, AWS) Certification
  • Microsoft (MCSA:0365) or other related Certification
