We are seeking a CEO to lead the launch and scale of REALTOR.ca Canada Inc. as an independent subsidiary, with a mandate to drive significant revenue growth, build a high-performing go-to-market engine, and scale a proven tech platform. This role requires a commercially driven, tech-savvy leader with a proven track record of growing digital businesses across multiple customer acquisition and engagement channels. The CEO will define and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy, establish scalable systems, and scale and unlock new revenue through partnerships, channel diversification, and expansion. This is a rare opportunity to lead the growth phase of a category-defining platform with strong market traction and significant upside.

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead REALTOR.ca Canada Inc.’s vision, mission, and growth by driving a strategic plan focused on revenue, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Own the go-to-market strategy and drive acquisition, engagement, and lifetime value across B2C and B2B2C channels.
  • Revenue & Product Growth: Lead the creation of new revenue streams, strategic partnerships, brand monetization initiatives, and innovative products, while consistently achieving revenue goals and driving platform growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the transition from CREA to the new subsidiary, building scalable operations and a high-performing leadership team.
  • Financial & Risk Oversight: Oversee budgeting and financial governance, ensuring targets are met and risks are managed across the business.
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing executive team. Champion a people-centered and performance-driven culture that aligns with REALTOR.ca Canada Inc.’s mission and values.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the public face of REALTOR.ca Canada Inc., representing the business to industry, media, and consumers. Build strong relationships with CREA leadership, board members, customers, and external partners

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as CEO, COO, President, CRO, or GM of a high-growth tech company ($20M–$100M+ ARR).
  • Proven success in building scalable go-to-market strategies and unlocking commercial value from digital platforms.
  • Visionary Leadership - Experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset - Deep focus on user experience and customer satisfaction, especially in digital consumer platforms.
  • Technology and Product Integration - Hands-on experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, or big data analytics applied to digital marketplaces.
  • Partnership & Ecosystem Development - Proven success in building strategic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with real estate regulations, data privacy, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through crisis and change at the executive level, maintaining stability while driving strategic outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of proptech, or consumer digital marketplaces.
  • Proven ability to lead product-driven companies, employing scalable modern digital architectures.
  • Expertise in corporate finance, budgeting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Experience operating in high-growth, high-complexity environments.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams, driven by data and results, while fostering a collaborative and inspiring environment.
  • Adept at leveraging data and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
