We currently have an opportunity available for a Technical Records Clerk. Reporting to the Planner/Controller, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Allow the Technical Records Dept. to adhere to Transport Canada technical record entry requirements i.e. entries made within 30 days of completed maintenance.
- Control, organize and distribute the Technical Library subscriptions.
- Preparation of billing documents, labour tabulation, and fleet hours.
- Support for future growth of fleet
- Assist the Controller/Planner with tracking, planning, and recording maintenance activities
- Input aircraft times and maintenance man-hours (timesheets)
- Update completed maintenance in WinAir
- Prepare technical logbook entries
- Filing of log sheets work orders, parts certificates and related maintenance documents
- Scanning and copying of maintenance documents, and insertion for computer access
- Preparation of labour invoicing, Fleet times, and other billing documents.
- Maintain the Maintenance Library, update and audit manuals regularly, and ensure required manuals are purchased and available.
- Perform other administrative tasks as requested
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
- Completion of High School
- Office Administration courses an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- WinAir maintenance management program experience an asset
- High level of attention to detail required
- Good organizational skills
- Reasonable typing speed, with emphasis on accuracy.
- Proper spelling and use of the English language imperative (technical terminology, acronyms, and abbreviations can be demanding)
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
