The Opportunity

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Medical Procurement & Operations Manager to support our expanding operational, planning, and supply chain needs. This role is critical to maintaining agility across our business, aligning with our new product pipeline, and overseeing key supply chain functions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members on high-impact strategic initiatives while ensuring cross-functional coordination and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations related to new product development, procurement, and supply chain execution.
  • Assist with supplier contract oversight, including NDAs and related onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new products and partners, ensuring all setup steps are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage product setup and launch timelines in collaboration with marketing, sales, and planning teams.
  • Create and track purchase orders, monitor vendor shipping timelines, and ensure proper documentation for shipment receipt.
  • Manage internal communications egarding product changes, delistings, and new product introductions.
  • Ensure medical product files and internal tracking tools are updated and maintained in real time.
  • Track internal product launch milestones and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance team coordination.
  • Support the planning and execution of the Spectrum Therapeutics online store assortment.
  • Research, evaluate, and help onboard new suppliers across multiple product categories.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an operational or project coordination role, preferably within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally experience with purchase order systems, supplier management, and product onboarding processes.
  • Strong project coordination and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross- functionally across departments.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management and category management principles is an asset.
  • Understanding of compliance or regulatory processes in a regulated consumer good or healthcare-related field is an asset.
