Job Description:
CANEIL is looking for a Junior Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and inspection departments, supporting various projects and tasks. You will have the opportunity to develop your engineering skills, gain experience, and work towards becoming a Professional Engineer, Visual Inspector, and Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) inspector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in engineering projects, both in the office and the field, while working under the supervision and guidance of a Professional Engineer.
- Support various technical engineering assessments such as FEA, FFS, RBI, OPPSD, etc. as required.
- Learn and apply the skills and competencies required to become a Professional Engineer, Visual Inspector, and NDE inspector for pipelines, piping, tanks, boilers, and pressure vessels.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality engineering and inspection services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering field).
- Must be a registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
- Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn and apply engineering concepts in both office and field settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
