About the role
Reliance Offshore, a subsidiary of I. H. Mathers, has been providing trusted crewing services to global marine and oil & gas sectors since 1981. We are currently seeking experienced 3rd Engineers for upcoming offshore marine projects.
Positions Available:
· 3rd Engineer
Required Experience:
· At least 2 years experience on DP3 vessels
· Strong familiarity with vessel maintenance protocols
Preferred Qualifications:
· DP Vessel Maintainer (DPVM) or Kongsberg K-CAT training
· HV Operator certification/training
Mandatory Requirements.
· Valid Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident Status
· STCW Certificate of Competency – 3rd Engineer (A-III/1)
· STCW Basic Safety Training (A-VI/1-1 to A-VI/1-4)
· Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB – A-VI/2-1)
· Advanced Firefighting (A-VI/3)
· Medical First Aid (A-VI/4-1)
· Ship Security with Designated Security Duties (A-VI/6)
· WHMIS 2015 Certification
· Transport Canada Seafarer’s Medical
· Willingness to undergo mandatory industry medical & drug testing
· Ability to commit to approximately 6-week onboard rotations
Job Details:
Contract Duration: Seasonal
Rotation: 4–6 weeks on/off
Daily Pay Rate: $585
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Location: Offshore / Marine Environment
