Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and be able to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Ensure proper mixing of paints and finishes for desired colors and textures.
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure durability of painted surfaces.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and power tools.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to painting projects.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience in commercial painting as well as residential painting projects.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing gaps and joints effectively.
- Familiarity with construction painting practices is a plus.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
