As the Building Operator, you are responsible for the maintenance of Cardel’s Quarry Park office building, cleanliness of the building, and management of the warehouse.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building and grounds.
- Respond to service and tenant requests and emergencies.
- Conduct minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and renovations.
- Monitor building systems (boilers, elevators, fire alarms) and ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Maintain inventory supplies and maintenance records.
- Manage shipping and receiving of furniture and equipment.
- Maintain and organize warehouse space.
- Front desk coverage as required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, facility operations management, or a related role
- Experience operating and maintaining mechanical systems
- Facilities management certification, an asset
- Knowledge of OH&S legislation.
- Knowledge of RTAC Trane Chillers, Trane Building Automation System, an asset
- Standard First Aid Level C w/ AED
- WHMIS Certification
- Valid Driver’s license
