We’re looking for a bold, adaptable, and sophisticated strategic partner with expertise in management accounting, risk-adjusted profitability, and financial institution management. If you thrive on delivering high-impact insights and influencing executive decision-making, this role is for you.

Using your extensive experience in management accounting and complex financial analytics, you’ll provide in-depth, highly personalized decision support to executive decision-makers, committees, and business unit leaders to help achieve performance goals.

You’ll prepare complex financial and operational analytics with impactful visuals, drawing out key insights and recommendations to influence strategic decision-making.

With your ability to build strong relationships, simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences, and your deep financial expertise, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand financial needs and challenges, uncover opportunities and create financial analysis tools to support their success.

  • Please note that there are two positions available for this role

What You’ll Do

  • Assess and anticipate decision-makers’ needs by building strong relationships with executives and business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and challenges, and identify the most effective support path
  • Seek ways to continuously and proactively guide executives to meet and exceed financial performance goals
  • Analyze leading indicators to identify delivery risks and operational performance gaps, drive actionable insight or provide alternative approaches
  • Help stakeholders better understand the importance of balancing growth and risk-taking with returns and impact by assessing risk-adjusted profitability, outlining value delivery and industry impact benefits, and providing recommendations to secure alignment and approval
  • Provide clear, data-driven narratives and visuals covering portfolio performance, portfolio risk and effectiveness of resource deployment in realization of strategic goals

What We’re Looking For

  • Relationship-builder who thrives on collaboration and is comfortable proactively working with stakeholders at all levels and across divisions
  • Proven mentor who can effectively transfer expert knowledge and business acumen to other team members to enhance strategic decision-making capacity
  • Analytical thinker and problem-solver who can challenge assumptions, apply a variety of analysis techniques and identify root causes to develop effective solutions
  • Confident communicator who can make complex information easily understood and actionable for all involved

What You’ll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business or economics, at least six years of experience, and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, including researching, forecasting and financial modelling
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and implement financial decision-support tools

  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analytical tools, with mastery of data visualization tools
