Temporary position for 18 months
As a Skills Development Trainer, you will be a driving force for growth within our disability management team. Thanks to your communication skills, subject-matter expertise, and personalized teaching approach, you will make a real difference in the journey of our new talent. Your collaborative spirit, ability to work in synergy with teams, and initiative will be essential in advancing our practices and supporting the implementation of meaningful projects. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Onboarding and Development of New Employees: Design and deliver tailored onboarding and training programs to ensure effective and compassionate handling of disability claims.
- Project Implementation Support: Work closely with project teams to ensure the successful rollout and adoption of new initiatives within operational teams.
- Claims Quality Monitoring: Support Disability Claims Advisors in training to ensure rigorous and efficient claims management, with a focus on sound financial practices.
- Identification and Support of Learning Gaps: Detect specific learner needs and implement personalized support strategies to foster success.

What you bring to the table
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including at least three years as a Disability Claims Advisor
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
- Advanced knowledge of core operational systems (e.g., DCM) and disability management processes
