About the role

What will you do?

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Digital Buildings Account Manager to join our growing team in Western Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for Business Development and Account Management across your assigned region and accounts, including marketing, sales and preliminary solutions support on all SE Buildings Systems and Field Devices offer, as well as engaging the appropriate subject matter experts for these solutions. 

This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building strong relationships with channel partners and end users, and delivering innovative smart building solutions that align with our sustainability and digital transformation goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and assigned channel partners at multiple organizational levels.
  • Identify and support new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate closely and support the Regional Sales Manager to align on strategy and execution across Western Canada.
  • Initiate, lead and support marketing initiatives aimed at channel partners, including promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, logistics, and customer service) to ensure seamless execution of partner orders and fulfillment.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ related experience in the field of building automation, HVAC field devices, refrigeration, smart building technologies or other building technologies related products
  • Proven experience in sales support, or account management preferably
  • Experience working directly with channel partners (asset)
  • Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics and partner relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve sales targets
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Western Canada
