Job Description
Right at Home is looking for experienced, professional certified HEALTH CARE ASSISTANTS who are currently registered with BC Care Aid Registry to add to our team of exceptional caregivers and assist with 1:1 client care in the Victoria BC areas.

- Police Criminal Background Check with VSS
- Updated immunizations and proof of Covid-19 vaccinations
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- HCA certification or equivalent and registration with BC Care Aid Registry
- Current certificate in standard first-aid and CPR
- Ability to travel freely to see clients
Duties:
- Assisting with personal grooming
- Bathing
- Dressing and undressing
- Mobilization activities (turning, transferring, exercising and walking)
- Toileting
- Eating and meal preparations
- Specialty care an asset (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chronic Conditions)
- Companionship, outings
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
- Must be passionate, patient, caring and committed
Work Locations:
Client homes in Victoria BC

- We require a criminal background check with VSS within the last 6 months
- You must be available to do 12 hour shifts
