We are looking for a Regional Administrator to join our Residential team in Iqaluit, Nunavut . Reporting to the Regional Manager , you will support all administration activities for the assigned region. The Regional Administrators are an important part of our team, as they assist in the effective operations of our property management offices while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Support and train regional staff throughout Canada
- Act as a point of contact; providing information to team members, residents, and prospective residents
- Review and administer purchase orders, complete bank deposits, EFT’s, and security deposit refunds; utility bill validations and chargebacks; ledger reconciliation, monthly postings, view GPR report
- Ensure maintenance requests are handled in accordance with priority and are properly inputted into Yardi
- Audit telelink work orders
- Maintain resident files; keeping accurate information regarding resident contact information
- Preparation of office correspondence including resident letters; rent increases, eviction notices, noise complaints
- Collaborate with and support team members, participating in meetings pertaining to progress, health and safety, and other related operational updates
- Prepare health and safety compliance paperwork
- Leasing-related duties which may be inclusive of assisting in the leasing process including review and approval of rental applications, unit transfers, prepare and audit lease agreements for new tenant occupancy as well as renewals and attending meetings related to leasing
- Yardi-related duties may include audit move-ins, move-outs, and deposit accounting
- May assist with scheduling move-out appointments with tenants and perform property inspections
- May support receivables process, assisting with aged receivables, collection calls, and RTDRS filings
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Able to work independently, is a self-starter, and able to effectively multi-task
- Three years of previous experience in an administrative function
- Previous experience in a Property Management organization will be an asset
- Familiarity with Residential Tenancy Acts in various provinces/territories is an asset
- Experience with Yardi required
- Ability to use MS Office suite at an intermediate level
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to provide a criminal record free of relevant convictions
- A team player with the ability to collaborate with diverse working groups
- Fluent in English in all communications
- Frequent travel is a requirement of this position; up to 50% of the time.
