Our priority is to make sure we hire professional customer service representatives that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As a customer service representative with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Answering customer calls and processing customer orders for new service, discontinuance, or changes in service.
- Accepting payments from customers, researching customer billing inquiries and updating customer account information.
- Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements, resolve problems or complaints, and seeks cost-effective, safe environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
- Entering data from new sales material as well as customer terminations and service changes
- Maintaining sales spreadsheets and pdf files related to the sales activities
- Analyzing account activity and suggesting opportunities for service improvements to the customer with a consultative approach
- Maintaining appropriate files and documentation, in accordance with company policy and internal controls
What We Need From You:
- 2-3 years of customer service/office admin experience
- High-volume call center or inbound calling experience
- Pleasant demeanor over the phone and emails
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, TRUX an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Critical and logical thinking skills
