Project Services Coordinator – Innovation

As a Project Services Coordinator working within the Innovation department at Pomerleau Construction, you will provide coordination with our Innovation Support Team and the Project Management team during the startup and execution stage of the construction process. Supporting our work on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will support the coordination of various resources and provide exceptional guidance to our internal project teams.
What You Will Do
- Support and guide the development of project kickoff plans to ensure they align with key milestones and meet all timeline and deliverable requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams to ensure a smooth project startup and that the service plan aligns with project requirements.
- Partner with internal departments to uncover and promote additional services that enhance project team success.
- Collaborate closely with your team lead to troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead insightful post-project reviews to capture lessons learned, gather team feedback, and recommend impactful improvements for future projects.
- Celebrate milestones and project completions as a team, recognizing achievements and building momentum for what’s next.
This role could be for you if you have
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience within in a coordination or project coordination assistance role with a strong background in customer service, account management, or event planning.
- Post secondary education in the field of Office/Business Administration, Project Management, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a knack for building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Fluently bilingual in both official languages (English and French) both written and oral.
- The successful candidate must be able to obtain a government of Canada Secret Level
- Clearance (10+ years in Canada) as per contractual requirements.
- Ability to travel within your local region and Canada
Additional Assets Include
- Knowledge of Procore or CMiC
- Experience providing project coordination assistance
