About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician, Financial Reporting on a full-time permanent basis for our Corporate Accounting team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan .
In this role, you'll be at the heart of petroleum logistics, ensuring accuracy and accountability in key financial and operational processes. If you’re someone who enjoys digging into details, solving problems, and contributing to the bigger picture behind energy distribution, this role offers a rewarding challenge.
What you’ll do:
- Process outstanding EDI meter tickets for all refineries, adjusting and correcting as required.
- Track, reconcile, and pay lease operator holdbacks and common carrier claims from FCL distribution centers.
- Code and process freight payments and related charges.
- Prepare and distribute petroleum freight related reports.
- Other duties as required.

You’ll collaborate with five other Accounting Technicians within a cohesive and supportive team, all reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting. Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
- Have a high school diploma, two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution, and one year of relevant accounting experience.
