Position Overview
We are currently seeking a seasonal part-time Grass Cutting Technician to work in our lawn care division. Hours will vary depending on company needs but the ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Job Duties
- Single person mowing of residential and small commercial properties
- Operating a fertilizer spreader and fertilizing customer's lawns
- Applying grass seed to customers lawns
- Applying other lawn care products to customers lawns as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Aerate lawns
- Lawn Rolling
- Spray applications for weeds
- Apply fertilizers
- Assist with pest control
- Make recommendations for lawn maintenance
Qualifications
- Experience using grass cutting equipment (eg. push mower, zero turn tractor, trimmer)
- 'G' Class drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs
- Customer service experienced preferred
Additional Information
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- $19 to $22 / hour depending on experience
- 40-50 hours per week
- Great working environment and close-knit team
- Up to 24 hours per week
