Make an impact with our Accounting & Treasury team as a Payment Application Administrator. This diverse team of professionals are committed to delivering firm-wide financial solutions with expertise and precision. As a trusted advisor, you’ll compile, analyze, summarize and monitor financial data and reports that are integral to understanding the financial position of our firm.

Responsibilities

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of cash receipts applications and postings
-
Communicate with internal team members and external stakeholders to answer inquiries regarding payments
-
Facilitate client refunds
-
Update and maintain daily bank balances
-
Maintain our client inbox
-
Utilize our internal payment systems to:
-
Assist in resolving unapplied payments
-
Receive US dollars and convert to Canadian dollars to post payments
-
Enter banking transactions
-
Ensure internal payment systems are balanced
-
Conduct research and respond to internal business partners to resolve requests
-
Collaborate to review upcoming team deadlines and work requirements
-
Coordinate the flow of work to specific team members (such as documents for review or signatures)
-
Support with filing systems, ad-hoc reports, and ad-hoc projects as needed
-
Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Skills And Experience
-
A strong focus on client service when communicating with team members and external stakeholders
-
Intermediate competency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
-
Highly organized, efficient, and able to juggle multiple priorities
-
Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
-
Ability to work and collaborate in a professional setting
-
Strong spoken and written communication skills
-
The following would be considered an asset:
-
Ability to speak French (written and oral)

Prior experience working in a partnership or professional services firm
-
Analytical, financial, and mathematical abilities
