We are seeking a professional Security Receptionist to manage front-desk operations while maintaining campus security at an all-girls private school located in downtown Toronto. This position will be 30 hrs/week and includes conducting patrols, monitoring visitor access and security systems, maintaining logs, assisting with facility setup and booking coordination, and supporting school programs and events. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, and prior concierge or guarding experience is preferred. The school is easily accessible by public transit, and free on-site parking is available. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Position Overview:
Location: Bloor St. E and Mount Pleasant Rd.
Shift: Monday to Friday from 16:30 - 22:30
Payrate: $18.25/hr
Easily accessibly by transit and free parking is available on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for opening and securing facility spaces for visitors, which includes visual checks for safety, cleanliness and functionality
- Maintain a visitors log and monitor the front door buzzer and security cameras to assess any security concerns with visitor entry
- Responsible for any required facility and/or equipment setup prior to user group arrival, as well as any required strike to return the facility to its original condition
- Provide support to ensure programs run effectively and user needs are met, including providing direction to visitors, overseeing attendance/check-in requirements
- Ensure all policies, procedures and other user expectations are being observed
- Maintain a daily operator report and communicate any issues with the Director Occasional event set-ups for both school use and third party rentals as required.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- Minimum 1 year of combined security and administrative experience, preferably in a corporate or concierge setting.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organizational skills and demonstrated multitasking ability Team player and outstanding customer service abilities
