Position Summary:
Reporting to the Clinic Manager of the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, Office Assistant C provides administrative, logistical, and organizational support to the Student and Staff Dental Clinic and contributes to the efficient and effective running of the clinic. The incumbent also handles duties of a highly confidential nature and critical to the operations of the clinic.
Primary Responsibilities:

Participates in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Student and Staff Dental Clinic. Collaborates with supervisor and others in establishing work priorities. Follows up on and ensures appropriate implementation of decisions made by supervisor.

Supports the Faculty of Dental Medicine and Oral Health Sciences as part of its clinic administrative back-up pool.

Responsible for administration related to the dental clinic patients including replying to emails, web enquiries, answering phone calls, checking voicemails, and scheduling appointments. Preparation of related documentation including insurance paperwork and consent forms.

Handles financial and medical data for the clinic, processing payments.

Ensures meticulous document retention, maintaining organized and accessible files. Handle tasks with attention to detail, accuracy, and care.

Performs other related duties and participates in projects as required.
Other Qualifying Skills And/Or Abilities:
Strong written and speaking skills in French and English.
Demonstrated organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills and ability to manage stress.
Resourceful and able to organize work, multi-task, meet deadlines, take initiative, and problem-solve.
Proven ability to work in a PC environment using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook).
Responsible and dependable when handling confidential information and documents.
Knowledge of dental software and dentistry terminology desirable
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience
Hourly Salary:
(AMUSE C) $26.00

33.75 (Part time)
