Our work spans the clean power, transmission, smart grid, energy optimization, and retrofit sectors. We deliver high-impact solutions for clients including utilities, developers, governments, and private equity stakeholders — all with a focus on decarbonization, digitalization, and energy performance.
We are actively building a team of technical advisors for upcoming energy efficiency retrofit and building decarbonization projects. These roles will support portfolio-scale energy strategies, technical due diligence, and performance validation for PowerTek’s client base across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and design performance-based energy retrofit contract structures.
- Analyze shared savings frameworks, measurement criteria, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
- Review energy performance guarantees and penalty/reward systems.
- Provide technical insight on energy service company (ESCO) proposals and EPC models.
- Support clients in contract negotiations, risk analysis, and drawdown eligibility.
- Align EPC documentation with financial modeling, M&V plans, and retrofit implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working with EPCs, performance-based contracts, or ESCOs.
- Proven ability to interpret and draft technical contract language.
- Background in building systems, energy finance, or infrastructure procurement.
- Experience with municipal, institutional, or commercial buildings preferred.
- Understanding of legal liability, energy savings measurement, and project finance.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $20.00-$80.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
