Location: 100% Remote
Hours: 10–15 hours per week
Rate: Based on experience
Are you an organized, detail-oriented bookkeeper with experience using QuickBooks Online and Zoho ? We're looking for a reliable and proactive individual to join our team and help manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial admin across two active businesses.
Bilingual (English/French) is strongly preferred as we work with clients and documents in both languages.
🔹 Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:
General Bookkeeping & Data Entry
- Recording financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments)
- Reconciling accounts with bank statements
- Monitoring and managing our accounting inbox
🧾 Business A Tasks:
- Enter invoices, expenses, and payments in QBO
- Approve and enter Zoho expense reports into QBO
- Prepare monthly missing credit card receipt reports
- Enter credit card expenses from SharePoint
- Prepare monthly GST/QST reports
- Generate vendor payment reports once client payments are received
- Enter vendor payments into QBO and notify the team
📄 Business B Tasks:
- Enter invoices, expenses, honoraria, and payments in QBO
- Manage receivables (cheques, Stripe, bank deposits) via Zoho and QBO
- Approve Zoho expense reports and enter them into QBO
- Prepare quarterly missing credit card receipt reports
- Enter credit card expenses
- Prepare quarterly GST/QST reports
- Create vendor payment reports for invoices over $1.5K and honoraria
- Enter payments in QBO once approved and released
💼 Payroll & Contributions:
- Receive and process payroll details
- Approve and enter reimbursements
- Prepare RRSP contribution reports and submit to Manulife
- Prepare monthly DAS reports
📊 Financial Reporting:
- Update rolling and sales forecasts (e.g., burn rate, accruals)
- Maintain and share budget trackers post-invoicing
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Comfortable using Zoho for expense reports and CRM functions
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Professional communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred
