Role: Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Azure)

Location: Remote (Candidates must be available to work in EST or CST time zones)

Duration: 6 Months (Full-Time Contract) + Likely Extensions

Insure Technology is currently engaged with one of it's key strategic consulting partners to help them identify a highly experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services . This role involves hands-on work designing and optimizing data pipelines and integrations within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. Candidates with experience in Databricks will be considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement a Microsoft Fabric-based data architecture
• Develop scalable data pipelines using tools such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and related services
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources to support advanced analytics and reporting
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to support the success of the POC
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing throughout the engagement

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory
• Strong understanding of data integration, transformation, and modeling
• Experience with Databricks is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
