About the role
Hensall Co-op is seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral member of our team! This is a full-time position, working out of the Harrow location.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe and accurate operation of fertilizer equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of field application, field conditions and safety inspections.
- Assist customers with loading and unloading of products.
- Delivery of crop retail and seed products to customer’s farms.
- Provide exceptional customer service both on farm and at location.
- Assist with inventory control by verifying shipments, completing accurate documentation, and producing inventory counts when necessary.
- General housekeeping to ensure the yard is always kept clean and safe.
- Various other job duties depending on seasonal demands.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in an agriculture setting is preferred.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- DZ license would be considered an asset.
- Mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset.
