Heart to Home Meals is the leading frozen home meals delivery service for seniors in Ontario. Established in 2016 Heart to Home Meals provide healthy and nutritious meals to thousands of elderly customers who wish to remain independent in their own homes.
The role of a Friendly Delivery Driver is critical to the success of our business. Our customers are predominantly over 75 years of age and the Friendly Delivery Driver plays a fundamental role in helping our business to grow through many key aspects.
Our Friendly Delivery Drivers act as ambassadors for the meals we deliver at Heart to Home Meals. We are dedicated to learning all about the range we offer to our customers and proud advocates of our highly nutritious meals.
Our Friendly Drivers deliver more than just meals. Your passion and enthusiasm brings joy and vitality to our customers' who look forward to seeing you.
All Heart to Home Meals Friendly Delivery Drivers are famous for being empathetic and helpful to all of our customers. Our goal is to be looked upon as a trusted friend and neighbour who becomes a regular part of our customers lives. We aim to make a real difference in the lives of our customers by helping them maintain their independence, and choosing the meals they enjoy that sustain and improve health.
Skill, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- This is a "people" focused role, Friendly Delivery Drivers must enjoy engaging with a wide variety of elderly customers.
- Our Friendly Delivery Drivers take an active interest in getting to know every customer and become a trusted friend.
- Our Friendly Delivery Drivers are able to communicate and relate to people at all levels.
- You will have a flexible approach to work and willingness to help with other areas of the business as and when occasion arises.
- Our drivers pride themselves on communicating back to the office any opportunity that may exist.
- You'll need to be comfortable collecting money and ensuring all takings are logged and recorded.
- G full license, clean driving record is required.
- The role Friendly Delivery driver is subject to criminal record check every two years.
- This role requires to constantly lift several boxes weighing up to 15 pounds each. Climbing stairs with some boxes might be required from time to time.
