In This Role, You’ll Be Responsible For:
Shop & Production Support
- Stuffing cushions to proper fill levels and ensuring uniformity
- Stripping furniture of old fabric, staples, and materials in preparation for reupholstery
- Assisting upholsterers and other production staff with tasks as needed
- Moving and staging furniture safely throughout the shop
Furniture Cleaning & Preparation
- Cleaning off furniture frames and pieces before packaging
- Inspecting finished pieces for dust, dirt, or damage
- Wiping down and preparing items for delivery or showroom display
Packing & Delivery Prep
- Carefully wrapping and packing finished furniture for transport
- Labelling and organizing outgoing items to match job orders
- Assisting with loading and unloading furniture onto delivery vehicles
Shop Organization & Maintenance
- Keeping the shop tidy and clear of debris throughout the day
- Disposing of waste materials safely and efficiently
- Sweeping, organizing tools, and maintaining shared workspaces
Off-Site Assistance
- Helping with pickups, drop-offs, or installations at client locations
- Safely handling furniture during transport and setup
- Representing the company professionally while off-site
You Possess:
- A valid driver’s license (required)
- The ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet throughout the day
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and ask questions when needed
- Attention to detail and care when handling high-end furniture
- Punctuality and consistency—showing up ready to work each day
