We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations and contributing to the financial strength of the business. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Support the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.
- Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, offering financial insights to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives with financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in preparing and delivering financial presentations for leadership.
- Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support other finance-related projects and duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
