Join the Mathnasium Of Cambridge team and make a difference in the lives of students through your passion for math! We are an internationally recognized institute that offers supplemental math support to students throughout the year and are now accepting applications for Highschool Math Instructors.
As a Highschool Math Instructor, you will have the opportunity to use your creative and energetic teaching style to engage students from grades K-12 using the Mathnasium Method®.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching Math to students between Grade K - 12 using the Mathnasium Method®
- Being energetic and creative while teaching new concepts to students
- Occasional interaction with parents (when needed)
- Relevant tasks related to teaching students at the Learning Centre including administrative assistance and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional Math skills (an in-house Assessment will be taken)
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
- Energetic, caring, and confident personality
- Enjoys working in a team
- Ability to understand and act on provided guidelines
- Reliable and overall professional
Preferred Qualifications:
- Creative, fun, and confident personality
- Ability to teach students in upper level high-school math courses (Grades 9-12)
- Ability to motivate students to learn and work on new concepts while maintaining a positive environment
- Previous experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, etc)
- University graduate or university student from a program with strong emphasis on Math. Educators, Pre and Post OCT are most welcome to join the team.
